Sygic GPS Navigation users now can see nearly 300,000 charging points for electric vehicles directly in their application. The increase in available charging points is possible thanks to the work of their parent company, Eurowag.
Sygic introduced EV Mode to their popular navigation service in May 2020. EV Mode allows electric vehicle drivers to find available charging points, view their status, and even pay for charging directly in the application. Sygic GPS Navigation is the first application to offer this functionality to drivers.
EV Mode was initially launched with 145,000 charging stations available to application users. Thanks to Eurowag’s cooperation with EV charging point providers, Sygic GPS users now have access to 297,803 charging points across Europe. The growth of coverage in the application illustrates Eurowag’s commitment to driving eMobility solutions forward.
